WTB: Aluminum sump

Not dying to find one but I would be interested if anyone has an aluminum sump they are not in need of. Would make things look a bit nicer for the dry sump pan :-)

I have several. The trick is keeping the strength in the rear end for transmission coupling duties.

What's one worth to you? Shipping may be a deal breaker.

I'd be willing to sink $200 all said and done into it. Maybe more if I win big when I'm at SEMA. I am pretty confident that I will retain sufficient rigidity by keeping the factory steel case brace/windage tray out of the Kia.

I'll price up shipping and see if it's worth doing or not.

I didn't mean block stiffness. I mean the interface to the gearbox. They don't put those big cast iron brackets on the RWD setups for no reason. Found on utes, skylines, and all sorts. Removed by many a modder, but never by me. Engines like the FE3 and S2K donk don't have those braces, because their sumps perform the same function.
