This was a project I started in January 2011, unfortunately I lost control of it after the dyno tune and put it into a tree, spent a month in hospital. I have since scrapped the FWD Rustler and bought a RWD Nissan 1400 "Bakkie" (South African term for pickup truck)
Specs for the Rustler:
2.0 FE-DOHC Aluminim Sump 10:1 Compression Motor, stock internals.
FE5A Intake and Exhaust Cams
T66 Ball Bearing Turbo
Tilton Tripple Plate Clutch
Billet Steel Flywheel
ARP Flywheel Bolt
60-2 Crank Trigger Set Up
4 X 1600cc Injectors
3 Inline 8 Bar Fuel Pumps
Mazda 12V Turbo Transmission, H-Type
2000HP Charge Cooler
76mm Boost Pipes
Initial tune 26 PSI Boost, 24 degrees timing, 7000 RPM, pistons broke ring lands, power was around 300wKW. Fitted a new set of standard pistons turned the boost down to 22 PSI and made 277wKW. Fuel being used was E85.
